IMPORTANT
We do not provide legal, psychological or other professional advice and nothing on this site should be viewed as such advice; we encourage you to speak with appropriate, well-qualified professionals. However, we hope that the work that we are doing and the information provided here, based on the personal experiences of many and on hundreds of hours reviewing academic manuscripts and legal cases, will be of some help to you and, above all, to kids throughout the world.

Our vision

An international community where children’s rights and needs are truly put first whenever families separate and where everyone has the knowledge and understanding to play a part in preventing the psychological child abuse and trauma that so often accompanies separation, particularly through traditional legal and court systems.

Our AIMS

RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS
To raise public awareness of the nature, extent and life-long impact of the trauma and psychological child abuse (aka parental alienation) that so often accompany family separation

INCREASING PROFESSIONAL UNDERSTANDING
To substantially increase professional understanding of the extreme risks to children associated with family separation and to ensure greater professional training, regulation and accountability

HELPING THOSE AFFECTED
To provide information and support to parents and children experiencing, or at risk of suffering, the tragic consequences of separation-related psychological child abuse (aka parental alienation)

PROMOTING FAMILY COURT REFORM & ALTERNATIVES
To promote the development and use of systems and procedures, as alternatives to the Family Court, that genuinely assist families and protect children through the process of separation and beyond

WORKING WITH POLITICIANS

To address these issues at a political level and to foster the political will to make changes necessary to protect children at a most vulnerable time in their lives

FORGING A GREATER ALLIANCE
To forge a greater alliance between organisations working internationally to the same ends
